Mindst otte mennesker blev dræbt og 32 andre såret i Thailand, efter at et godstog ramte en bus ved en jernbaneoverskæring i Bangkok, oplyser redningsfolk og en vicetransportminister. Thousands of mourners gathered in Bangkok to pay their respects as the body of Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol was transferred to the Grand Palace for funeral rites.

BANGKOK — Den 2. juni 2026 markerede Thai Airways International Public Company Limited mandag for første gang i sin 66-årige historie, da en kvindelig pilot opererede en kommerciel flyvning for det nationale luftfartsselskab.
Pannathorn Tangrungruangchai, kendt som "Bam", var flyselskabets første kvindelige førsteofficer på flyvning TG564 fra Bangkok til Hanoi ombord på en Airbus A320-200 med registreringsnummer HS-TXS.
