www.thai-dk.dk/uploads/Udklip00000e.JPG
Taste leader: 'Pad kaprao' grilled chicken with poached egg over rice.

Thailand's delectable pad kaprao, a fiery stir-fried dish infused with fragrant basil and garlic, has clinched the coveted top spot in the "Best Stir-fried Dishes in the World" -- as ranked by TasteAtlas.

In addition to pad kaprao, the popular pad Thai, a sensational stir-fried rice noodle creation, secured eighth position among the 50 finest stir-fried dishes globally, according to ratings by the website's discerning audience.

Indulge in the unusual rainbow colors and flavors of Thailand's iconic dessert! This stall sells a fusion of sweet mangoes, sticky rice, and creamy coconut milk.

A twist on tradition - watch as vibrant colors transform the dish! The popular dish has been adapted by the street vendor by adding bright colourings to the rich, sticky rice to resemble a rainbow.

The main ingredients are ripe mangos, sticky rice, coconut milk, and palm sugar. It is simply prepared by steaming the sticky rice and warming the coconut milk with salt and sugar before putting the sliced mango on the plate. The Shor Sornkaew shop is open from 6 AM to 8 PM every day.

Khanom khrok pancakes are a traditional Thai street food snack that are made with coconut milk, sugar, and rice flour. They are cooked in a half-sphere shaped mould and can be filled with sweet and savory toppings, such as shredded coconut, corn, cilantro, and green onions. Khanom khrok pancakes are a delicious and easy snack to make at home. The batter can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. The pancakes are cooked in a special khanom khrok pan, but you can also use a muffin tin or ramekins. Khanom khrok pancakes are crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. They are the perfect snack for any occasion!

CHIANG RAI, THAILAND - Today we’re traveling to the mountains of Chiang Rai and harvest, cook, and eat garlic chive roots - known in Thai as rak chu with the Akha people - but before we arrive, we’ll enjoy a dish you can’t leave without trying.

Nam Ngiaw Mor Din Pa Aeed - Immediately after landing in Chiang Rai, we got the rental car and drove straight to Nam Ngiaw Mor Din Pa Aeed to eat a bowl of nam ngiaw, a northern Thai dish including noodles and a tomato stew. It was as good as it always is. Something you don’t want to miss when you’re in Chiang Rai.

Pha Hee Coffee - The main destination was about an hour drive from Chiang Rai into the mountains to meet Pa Luang Aran, the head of the local Akha community.
